GOVERNOR OF TYROL VISITS TAL
else: ?>During his visit at the Austrian facility in Kienburg, the governor of the region was informed on the importance of the plant and on current TAL projects – the new oleo-kinetic plant has been operating for two months now.
Governor Günther Platter visited Kienburg transalpine Pipeline and on that occasion General Manager Alessio Lilli with local executive manager Andreas Landsteiner had the chance to update the Governor on the on-going projects and to talk about the important positive impact of TAL on the territory and its role within the region.
In order to guarantee safety and correct operation of its facilities, TAL constantly invests in renovation, new technologies and research & development. “Last year – explained General Manager Alessio Lilli – the investment volumes in Austria were 2.4 million euros and in 2018 they have increased up to 3 million euros”. Two months ago the first oleo-kinetic plant in the world was inaugurated, and project manager Markus Mühlmann presented it to Mr. Platter. It is a unique facility that supplies energy in an environmentally friendly way in Austria thus increasing significantly TAL’s energy efficiency.
“For over 50 years TAL has been transporting crude oil in a safe and invisible way from Trieste and across the Alps and has thus created an important bridge between Italy, Austria and Germany and an artery for the Mittel European economy – said Platter – cutting-edge projects, such as Taimeralm oleo-kinetic plant are a tangible proof of the company’s innovative power.”
