TAL looks to the future in East Tyrol
else: ?>The 27 municipalities which the Transalpine Pipeline (TAL) has been traversing for more than 55 years have always been important partners. At a recent mayors’ breakfast event followed by a press conference in Lienz, General Manager Alessio Lilli took the opportunity to inform attendees about the latest developments and provide insights into the energy supplier’s core values. “Our identity is based on three cornerstones: our people, our environment and our energy. When I speak about our people, I mean not only our employees but also the people who live in the surrounding areas with whom we aim to jointly develop in future.”
Sustainability is the key
The sustainable operation of the TAL was also one of the central issues. “The environment we live in is also an important priority for us. That’s why we invest in projects such as the world’s first kinetic crude oil power station, which has been in operation successfully for the past four years and generating CO2-free power between Felbertauern and MIttersill.” Sustainability is the key to the future development of the energy supplier TAL. “For this reason, we will continue to focus on innovative projects in consultation with people in the region,” says Lilli. In future, the TAL needs to be seen as a bidirectional connection. “It’s time for innovative ideas.”
