San Dorligo della Valle Tank Farm

San Dorligo della Valle Tank Farm is located in the southeast part of the industrial area of Trieste: it is used for the storage and handling of crude oil coming from the Marine Terminal. The depot consists of 32 tanks with double seal floating roofs and a total capacity of more than 2 million cubic metres. Each tank is equipped with all the devices required to ensure safe operation, inspection and maintenance. Many different qualities of crude oil can be stored simultaneously. In 50 years of activity, over 200 different types of crude oil have been handled at the Tank Farm and delivered via pipeline to the connected refineries.

San Dorligo della Valle Control Room, located within the company’s premises and equipped with the best available technology and a sophisticated control system, manages the operation of the pipeline and supervises the entire system 24 hours a day.
