The President of SIOT and General Manager of the TAL Group, Alessio Lilli, has been confirmed as President of the Consorzio Energia di Confindustria Alto Adriatico.
In 2022, the Consorzio Energia Confindustria, a consortium that negotiates the supply of electricity and gas, acted on the free market as a purchasing group, procuring electricity and gas to offer advantageous contractual conditions to companies, organisations and facilities, including those not registered with Confindustria Alto Adriatico.
Today, the Consortium has 108 members, for a total consumption of about 400 million kilowatt-hours of energy and 25 million cubic metres of gas.
“In analysing the trend of the international and national energy market 2021-2022,” stressed Alessio Lilli, “it must be emphasised that it has been complex and fluctuating, due to the aftermath of the Coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine, which have affected the prices of energy commodities, including oil, gas and electricity. A reshaping of oil trade flows is currently underway, so forecasting price dynamics is not straightforward. In general, as the new global energy order unfolds – with longer and more insecure logistics chains – the framework will become structurally more unstable,’ concluded Lilli. ‘The embargo and the price cap on Russia mark the end of a global oil market and the beginning of a more fragmented and, perhaps, more turbulent one.
