On November 15th TAL Austria HSSE Supervisor Franz Mattersberger had the opportunity to present the company and to lecture 20 police on-call duty officers at the Kufstein District Police Command – led by Lieutenant Wolfgang Weninger (Deputy District Police Commander Kufstein) and Chief Inspector Johann Egger – on the potential risks related to the TAL infrastructure and its security measures and procedures.
Safety has always been of highest priority for the whole TAL Group that promotes cooperation with the authorities, police commands and fire brigades in the regions crossed by the pipeline. In order to be prepared for any kind of emergency, it is very important to exchange information regularly, to continuously raise awareness on safety issues.
The main focus was on the security aspects, in this respect it was discussed how the police is communicating with TAL in case of emergency in order to guarantee the shortest and most efficient information possible as well as to to ensure the highest level of safety for the local communities.
